What OpticBench collects
Nothing you type into a calculator or drill is transmitted anywhere. All optical calculations run entirely in your browser. OpticBench requires no account and sets no advertising or analytics trackers.
What stays on your device
Practice progress, mastery, streaks, and the daily drill counter are stored in your browser's local storage (with an IndexedDB mirror) on your device only. Clearing site data removes them. They are never uploaded.
Payments
If paid plans are offered, purchases are processed by RevenueCat and its payment providers. OpticBench never sees or stores card details. An anonymous purchase identifier is kept in your browser so your access is recognized on this device. RevenueCat's own privacy policy governs its processing.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the service, per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
